Thulimbah Railway Station, located on Queensland’s southern line, once played an important role in transporting apples from local orchards to Brisbane. Although it’s no longer in regular use, the station sees occasional activity when the Southern Downs Steam Railway’s tourist train passes through on its journey from Warwick to Stanthorpe.

This 3D-printed model faithfully recreates the features of the original station, showcasing the unique architectural style typical of Queensland’s rural rail network.

While no two buildings were identical, these stations shared common elements like skillion roofs sloping towards the tracks, decorative trusses, spandrel arches at the waiting area entrance, and angled name boards mounted on ornate timber brackets. They were most often found in rural areas and on country branch lines.

The station comes with a tank on a wooden stand, downpipes and the name plate.

We can supply a personalised name plate with a name other than Thulimbah if you'd like.   Just let us know in the comments what name you would like to go on the station name plate.

This station would make an ideal authentic addition to your QR layout.

The foundations hold the building and tank securely for shipping and are easily removed when you are ready.  The tank can be easily seperated from the building and positioned under the downpipe.

Product is supplied unpainted
